The following series of 18 watercolors and details were painted in June & July of 2011 on Torchon-Rough 256 G/M2 Arches papers 64.8 x 101.6 cm.

While I've worked on Arches papers since 1974 this is the first time I've painted on such a heavy version, allowing me to express a fuller aesthetic range of possibilities.

I approached the paper with conte pencil, India ink drawn with a bamboo stylus pen and occasional touches of acrylic paint, and Sennelier watercolours.
